April Income Report 2019 – Matched Betting Strikes Back

Another exciting month, been catching up on my goal of 2 posts on this blog per month. I recently released a post covering cryptocurrency margin funding. This is a somewhat risky strategy; but the returns are very solid – around 12%. Also I wrote an article with a quick review of the Beem It app, which is an instant payment app which works similar to to the new payment platform.

I got big lot of income from matched betting. I have written up a quick introduction to matched betting for sign up offers here. Please have a read, I feel everyone can benefit from trying it out for some extra income. I plan to write some more articles about some other matched betting techniques to get some more income.

Anyway let’s have a closer look at April’s income:

Passive Income

InvestmentAmount
APN AREIT Fund$53.32
APN Asian AREIT Fund$54.56
Charter Hall PFA Fund$115.65
UBank Interest$39.15
MLT Special Dividend$27.03
RateSetter Interest$2.90

Once again, we have the stable income from my property funds and bank interest. Further investment will have to wait as I don’t have any spare capital.

MLT paid out a special dividend this month; unexpected but most welcome :). Only a small value, but as they say every cent helps.

As per usual RateSetter interest is still decreasing due to my extraction of my capital.

Side Hustle Income

Side Hustle/OtherAmount
Matched Betting~$1440.63

Huge month for my matched betting. Mainly due to being the first full month I have done it. This only takes my around 6-7 hours a week; so it is still well worth my time. Unfortunately, I am started to get noticed by some of the bookies. This leads to them banning me and reduces my potential profits. I expect I can still get a few more months of income before it fully dries up.

A total of $1,733.24 this month!

New graph style showing breakdown of passive and side hustle income.

Hit a new high this month, woohoo! Mainly due to the fantastic returns from my matched betting antics. As stated above, I am a little concerned about the longevity of this income. It should provide a few more months income so I can work on developing an income stream to replace it. As well as allow me to travel some more.

And that’s a wrap for April. I am very happy with the income this month; I’m excited to see if I can beat it again next month. These updates have been a great for me to track my progress and keep me motivated towards my goals. As always hope these updates are enjoyable; please leave any comments you have below.

  1. Hi – great post. I did matched betting (or as they used to call it bonus bagging) year ago. You’re right in that it works for a time and then you run out of bookies. Unfortunately, the bookies all compare notes on the punters they have coming in, so once you’re banned with one, it quickly spreads to another. I got banned by all the major bookies within a few months. Good luck with it and milk it for all you can while it lasts. Unfortunately, its not possible to retire on bookie bagging anymore.

    • Cheers, yeah definitely trying to get out as much as I can before they wrap it all up for me.
